Manila Pen Show 2026 Returns With Its Biggest Lineup Yet

The Manila Pen Show, Southeast Asia’s longest-running  gathering for fountain pen enthusiasts, writers, and analog culture lovers, returns for its  sixth year on March 28–29, 2026, at the 2nd Floor of Fairmont Makati, from 10:00 AM to  7:30 PM daily.

Themed “Hello Retro,” this year’s show celebrates objects with history: held in the  present, creating new stories that will live on in the future. Pens, paper, and ink connect  us across time, allowing us to glimpse the past while looking forward.

The Biggest Exhibitor Lineup to Date

Manila Pen Show 2026 features over 60 confirmed booths spanning two full ballrooms  and a foyer, the largest footprint in the show’s history. Exhibitors cover fountain pens,  inks, notebooks and paper, glass dip pens, leather goods, calligraphy supplies, and  artisan accessories, drawing makers and brands from Japan, Italy, Germany, Turkey,  India, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

Thirty-two exhibitors are new to the show in 2026, the biggest influx yet. International  highlights include Drillog, Eboya, and Tachikawa from Japan; Leonardo Pens from Italy;  Galen Leather and Studyo Ağaçkakan from Turkey; Lotus Pens, OAC Pens, and Vazir  from India; and two new glass pen studios — Kawanishi Glass and Hanabi Glass Studio.  New Filipino makers include Banwa Pens, Bags by Rubbertree, Marz Today, and Nobela  Jewelry.

Returning favorites include Scribe, Aesthetic Bay from Singapore, Stylo Art Karuizawa,  Nagasawa, Bungubox, Wancher, Pengallery from Malaysia, Taccia, Esterbrook, LAMY,  and many more.

Two Full Days of Workshops and Panels

Activities run across two dedicated workshop rooms over both days, covering calligraphy,  journaling, art, traditional Japanese lacquerware, eco-dyeing, and more.

Saturday highlights include a glass pen and Drillog handwriting session with Imma  Frias-Fua, a monoline lettering workshop with Tokyo-based artist Bechori, and a  traditional Hira Maki-e urushi (Japanese lacquer) plate workshop with Sophia Ma of  Kyuseido. Sunday features a ronde calligraphy class with Eun Bautista, a fountain pen  cursive workshop for kids with Toni Santos, and an Esterbrook travel journaling session  with KikayJournals.

The evening panels bring together voices from across the pen world. Founders’ Journeys  features Salvatore Matrone of Leonardo Officina Italiana, Jillian Tan of Inks by Vinta and  Everything Calligraphy, and Daryl Lim of Musubi, moderated by Leigh Reyes. Additional  panels cover the intersection of creative passions, and the art of sourcing, shipping, and  repairing vintage pens, moderated by Professor Butch Dalisay.

    Nibmeisters in Residence

Four specialist nibmeisters will be on hand in the dedicated Namayan function room,  offering fountain pen diagnosis, tuning, and specialty nib grinds. This year’s lineup: JP’s  Pen Spa and Nibworks (Philippines), John Raymond Lim (Philippines), Matthew Chen  (USA), and Sunny Koh of Straits Pen (Singapore).
